News and Events: Fundraiser for ICS at The Gaslight Theatre

The Health and Wellness Marketing Group, Inc., of Tucson has selected ICS to benefit from their charity fundraiser scheduled for May 9 at The Gaslight Theatre.

This is the second year that the Health and Wellness Marketing Group, Inc. has selected a non-profit to receive the proceeds from an event of this kind. For 23 years, ICS has helped Tucson-area seniors remain healthy and independent through our many programs, such as Caregiving Services, Mobile Meals, Emergency Assistance, a Food Bank, and Health Advocacy. It's not surprising that the demand for these services has increased sharply in the last few years, especially in the area of Caregiving Services. We will use the funding from this event to expand the Caregiving Services program to meet this increased demand.

The "fun"draiser event will be held at The Gaslight Theatre, which is famous for foot-stomping musical comedy melodrama! The play is called "Arizona Smith and the Relic of Doom," and will begin at 9:30 p.m. Tickets are $30 each and include the show and a dessert.

The evening will also showcase the results of a benefit raffle being conducted now through May 2. Raffle tickets are $5 each or 5 for $20. If you would like to donate a raffle item (valued at $25 or more), please contact Shar Caulley at 297-2738 ext. 209.
