News and Events: ′08 "We Care" Golf Classic Summary

The 2008 "We Care" Golf Classic raised over $40,000 for ICS while providing an enjoyable day of golf for all.

A field of 180 golfers tee'd off on Veteran′s Day, November 11, at Omni Tucson National Resort. It was a special day filled with patriotic touches and wonderful camaraderie. Golfers enjoyed 18 holes of golf, a delicious BBQ, and raffle and auction prizes.

Thanks to our many sponsors, this year′s event raised much-needed funds which benefit ICS programs for the disadvantaged, the disabled and the elderly.

We would also like to thank the "We Care" golf committee: Co-Chairs Jerry Ahmann and Steve Pollyea, Mac Fiske, Tom Hackett, Bob Lyons, Michael Mumford, Adam Goldstein, Emmett Smelser, and Karen and Bruce Bittmann for their leadership and support.
