Foodbank vol

HELPING PEOPLE
IN FINANCIAL
CRISIS

 

 

 

In Pima County, 17% of our families live below the federal poverty level.

Whether you volunteer in the Food Bank, do office work, or assist with programs that provide emergency financial assistance, you will be helping your neighbors work through periods of financial crisis.

 

 

Food Bank

Food Drive Organizers. Collect unopened staples within your congregation, community or school. This is a great contribution opportunity for your club or youth group.


 

Office Work

Front desk receptionist. 9 a.m. - 1 p.m. shift or 1 p.m. - 4 p.m. shift once a week. Answer phones, take appointments, answer questions, give directions, and greet visitors.

 

Financial Assistance Program

Intake workers. Conduct initial screening interview by phone to assess need and eligibility for assistance. Once a week schedule. 3-4 hrs. per shift (flexible).
