How We Serve:
FOOD BANK
|
|
Since 1985, ICS has partnered with the Tucson Community Food Bank to supply emergency food boxes to individuals and families.
Supplemental food and holiday boxes provide even more support to families in
need.
|
Those who come to the
ICS Food Bank are often in a temporary crisis and need a little help to get
over the hurdle. Some examples include:
- A family whose breadwinner is out of
work and has no income.
- Individuals or families who are
experiencing an unexpected income drain, such as an illness, and need
supplemental food supplies.
- A family receiving public assistance
whose check has been lost or delayed and has no food.
- Homeless or indigent persons.
- Clients referred from other programs or
local faith communities.
The ICS Food Bank is open Monday - Friday from 9:00am - 1:00pm

Success stories
During a recent holiday, a woman who received
food boxes dropped by ICS. She said, "You were there when I was in need.
I′m back on my feet and I want to help someone else." She left a cash
donation to be used to help others in need.
"Thank
you for your concern for me and my family, giving us food boxes during this
difficult financial time for us."
