Mileage Reimbursement Some mileage for volunteer ICS drivers is reimbursable at the federal business mileage rate of 48.5 cents per mile, up to 50 miles each round trip. This benefit is made possible by the Regional Transportation Authority′s program to help seniors in Pima County. It is available for volunteers transporting recipients to and from appointments, grocery shopping with recipients, and delivering Mobile Meals. Contact our Volunteer Coordinator at 297-6049 or volunteer@icstucson.org to register for this reimbursement program. Volunteer Recognition At our annual volunteer recognition event, we highlight and recognize the work of our awesome volunteers. At this event, we also recognize individuals who have been nominated for outstanding service to ICS and our recipients. Details of our next event will be posted here when they are available.
