VOLUNTEER
TRAINING

Our training program is designed to help our new volunteers feel confident and comfortable in their new role.

New Volunteer Training. At our training sessions, new volunteers learn the history and background of Interfaith Community Services and the many programs and volunteer opportunities available at the center. Volunteers have the chance to select the volunteer position that is most meaningful to them.

If you sign up for an orientation, we ask that you provide your Social Security number and bring your drivers license so we may run a criminal background and a Motor Vehicle Report.  We also ask that you provide us with the names and telephone numbers of a least two people (other than relatives) who can serve as personal references for you.

Unless otherwise noted, all trainings are held at ICS in the Conference Room from 10:00 a.m. - 12:00 Noon.
