Like to drive?

Our volunteer opportunities that involve driving seniors and delivering to seniors are eligible for mileage reimbursement.

♦ Effective January 1, 2008 the reimbursable mileage rate increased from 48.5 cents per mile to 50.5 cents per mile.

Mileage Reimbursement

Some mileage for volunteer ICS drivers is reimbursable at the federal business mileage rate of 50.5 cents per mile, up to 50 miles each round trip. This benefit is made possible by the Regional Transportation Authority′s program to help seniors in Pima County. It is available for volunteers transporting recipients to and from appointments, grocery shopping with recipients, and delivering Mobile Meals. Contact our Volunteer Coordinator at (520)297-6049 or sbrickley@icstucson.org to register for this reimbursement program.

Volunteers already signed up for mileage reimbursement can print PDF mileage report forms here:

Note to volunteers: In order to receive reimbursement please return all forms via fax or mail by the 5th of the month following the month of service.
