Volunteers are the heart of ICS! Gratitude and recognition for our volunteers is part of everything we do at ICS.

Annually, we formally recognize the work of all of our awesome volunteers. During this event we thank everyone who has volunteered their time during the year. We also take the opportunity to recognize individuals for their outstanding services to ICS and our recipients. Nominations for the following awards are made by both volunteers and staff. The Founder's Award, named for our Founder, Barbara Anderson, recognizes an individual who contributes significant volunteer time and talent to ICS and who demonstrates an outstanding level of commitment to one or more of the ICS programs and services. (Formerly known as the Barbara Anderson Award.) Previous award recipients are as follows:
