Interfaith Community Services is monitoring the current COVID-19 viral threat and we are taking appropriate protective actions for volunteers, recipients and staff.

We are following recommendations by the Arizona Department of Health to mitigate community spread. Please be sure that we are carefully watching the situation and are following the recommendations given by the Arizona Department of Health. Our goal is that together we can do our part to mitigate community spread and continue to provide the best service we can to our recipients.

We are making adjustments week to week and have cancelled all non-essential meetings through April 30.

Canceled meetings, workshops or events are the following:

VITA Free Tax Assistance until next tax season. Go to https://www.getyourrefund.org/ for free online tax help.

Mental Health First Aid on March 20,

Volunteer Orientations at all locations for the remainder of April.

Our Workforce Development Centers will be closed through April 30.

Produce Giveaways or Mobile Food Pantries until further notice.

Please check back for schedule updates.

The ICS Food Banks are OPEN with modified procedures to protect the health of volunteers, staff and visitors.  ICS Food Banks will be using a drive through model of food distribution to limit person to person contact.

We have seen a sharp increase in people visiting our food banks and expect the need to rise as the full economic impact of this crisis unfolds.

How you can help:

You can help keep us from running out of canned food by making a donation of food at our Northwest food bank Monday through Friday between 9-4 or our Eastside food bank Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday 10-1.

Many of our volunteers are in the high-risk category and not able to help at this time.  If you are low risk, we can use volunteer assistance in our Food Bank.  To sign up to be a one-time volunteer click here

You can help us keep our essential services available by making a secure donation on our website at:
