ICS has earned the Charity Navigator 4-Star Rating for NINE consecutive years!
Interfaith Community Services Earns Charity Navigator’s Highest Four-Star Rating for the Ninth Straight Year
Charity Navigator, America's leading independent charity evaluator, has awarded Interfaith Community Services (ICS) its highest rating of four stars for the ninth year in a row. The award recognizes charities for their sound fiscal management and commitment to accountability and transparency. ICS received an overall score of 98.23 out of a possible 100.
“Interfaith Community Services’ exceptional 4-star rating sets it apart from its peers and demonstrates to the public its trustworthiness,” according to Michael Thatcher, President and CEO of Charity Navigator.
“Only 2% of the charities we evaluate have received at least nine consecutive 4-star evaluations, indicating that Interfaith Community Services of Pima County exceeds industry standards and outperforms most charities in your area of work”.
In the award letter to ICS, Thatcher added, “This is our highest possible rating and indicates that (ICS) adheres to sector best practices and executes its mission in a financially efficient way.”
"Donors today want to know that the dollars they invest in a charitable organization are used effectively and wisely," said ICS Chief Executive Officer Daniel Stoltzfus, “and that the charities they support are delivering results.” Interfaith Community Services works diligently for this four-star designation. This award is a culmination of efforts and commitment from our Board of Directors and volunteers to our finance, program and development staff working closely together and with common purpose. It takes a total agency effort."
