Interfaith Community Services Committees

Finance Committee – Prepares the budget, reviews financial reports, oversees audits and financial reviews. Responsible for investments and management of the ICS Endowment Fund, major capital expenditures, and other fiscal responsibilities deemed necessary to maintain a sound financial position.

Development Committee – Provides guidance and assistance in the formulation and implementation of fundraising and planned giving activities, marketing, and public awareness goals to support the agency’s overall goals and objectives.

Development Subcommittees:

  • Planned Giving Advisory Council
    Provides guidance to ICS in its efforts to cultivate, solicit, accept and administer current and deferred legacy or planned gifts.
  • “We Care” Golf Classic Event Committee
    Assists in the planning and execution of ICS’s annual golf classic fundraiser.
  • Empty Bowls Event Committee
    Assists in planning and carrying out our annual spring fundraiser to benefit the ICS Food Bank.

Human Resources Committee - Establishes policies related to staff development necessary to support the goals and objectives of ICS.

Program Committee - Designs and conducts periodic needs assessments, evaluates current programs and activities, and recommends policy issues relating to volunteers, and recommends short- and long-range program goals and revisions to services.

Committee on Directorship - Plans and implements the ongoing development of the Board of Directors, including recruitment and nomination of board members and officers, planning orientations and retreats, and annual board self-evaluation. This committee also oversees the Bylaw Committee activities.

Faith Community Committee - Guides outreach to current and potential member faith communities and oversees the work of the Faith Community Council. Specific activities include developing Council meeting agendas and recommending new faith communities to the Board of Directors for approval as new ICS members.

Volunteer Management Committee - Provides guidance for volunteer management activities, including volunteer policies and procedures, orientation and training, volunteer satisfaction surveys, volunteer communications and recognition activities. Assists with annual volunteer recognition event.

Strategic Planning Committee - Plans and oversees a strategic planning process for the organization, including periodic reviews and assessments.

Information Technology (IT) Committee - Assists in development of policies, identifying hardware and software needs, and recommending vendor and staff supportFinance Committee – Prepares the budget, reviews financial reports, oversees audits and financial reviews.
