Help ICS alleviate hunger in Pima County by donating food. Below are suggestions on how you can get involved:
Donate at Our Offices
ICS welcomes and needs your food donations year-round. Donations are accepted 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday – Friday and 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Saturday at the ICS Main Food Bank on Ina. Donate at the ICS Eastside Food Bank on the campus of New Spirit Lutheran at Camino Seco and Old Spanish Trail from 10am-1pm Tuesdays and Thursday and on the 1st and 3rd Saturdays of the month. Please call ahead to make arrangements to drop off food outside of our normal business hours. We accept non-perishable food items, as well as donations of produce, dairy and packaged meats. Host a Food Drive!
There are many ways we obtain food, but one important way is through food drives. ICS relies on groups, businesses, faith communities, special events and community friends to help us collect food items year-round for distribution to hungry and struggling households throughout Pima County.
ICS makes it convenient for your group or organization to host a food drive any time of year. Contact us and we can provide some helpful tips, fliers with a list of regular food needs, and bins or boxes to collect the food. Thanks to two donated vans, we can usually pick up your food donations, if necessary. Hosting a food drive in the spring and summer is just as important to us as collecting food during the holidays as donations usually dip during the warmer months when seasonal residents leave the area.
For more information on hosting a food drive, contact Matt Sipos, Development Assistant, at 520-297-6049 ext. 209.
