Help ICS Raise $5,000 to Feed Thousands

Raise $5,000 to pay for gasoline so we can double the number of weekly stops on our Mobile Food Bank route for one year.

OUR STORY:
When the Mobile Food Bank was launched in January 2022, the truck operated Tuesday-Friday mornings, distributing perishable food and pantry staples in five areas not previously served by a food bank. Removing the transportation barrier changed many lives—in the first four months of operation, 80% of the clients who used the MFB had never been to a food bank before.
Cost of gasoline for the first year of service: $4,594
Now ICS is working to add afternoon stops to the route, doubling the number of sites visited by the MFB. Outreach staff are expanding partnerships with faith communities in areas of great need—sites that will host the truck and provide volunteers to help. We need funds to gas up the truck so we can drive food to new sites around town for clients experiencing food insecurity.
