MLK Day of Service
January 17, 2022
The Martin Luther King Jr. Day of Service is a defining moment each year when Americans across the country step up to make our communities more equitable and take action to build the Beloved Community of Dr. King’s dream. His example is our call to action.
We have several options of involvement for you:
1) Donate designated hygiene items from January 3rd to January 17th
Items needed:
◈ Quality adult socks
◈ Toothpaste, small sample size
◈ Toothbrush, single wrapped size
◈ Small Kleenex pack
◈ Chapstick
◈ Hand sanitizer, small size
◈ Small comb/brush or combo
2) Assemble hygiene kits for homeless individuals on January 17th
3) Clean up a Tucson or Pima County roadway with our Clean Up Captains.
