Fall Food Drive 2023

Fall Food Drive 2023

October 1-31, 2023

The annual Fall Food Drive—formerly known as Bag-a-Thon—is the biggest food drive of the year at ICS. In addition to collecting pantry staples to stock the Northwest and Mobile Food Banks, the drive brings in seasonal foods that allow ICS clients to enjoy a special holiday meal with their families.

The Fall Food Drive DRIVE

On October 30, the Mobile Food Bank truck will drive around Tucson picking up large food donations from faith communities and businesses. Contact athwaits@icstucson.org if your organization would like to join.

HOW TO PARTICIPATE

Individual Donation

Bring food donations of any size to an ICS office or other drop-off location. No appointment is necessary.

Group Drive

Perfect for schools, faith communities, workplaces, clubs, neighborhoods, sports teams, scout troops, and more.

  • Use the provided flyers and social media images to collect food as a group throughout October.
  • Drop off one big donation at an ICS location or partner site (see the list on the right side of the page) by October 31.
  • Send us pictures of your group/donation or let us know when you’re coming to drop off so an ICS representative can take pictures, and we’ll share the photos on social media and tag your organization. Use the hashtag #ICSfallfood.

  • $20 can buy a whole turkey or two whole chickens for a holiday meal
