Gifts of Love is a need-based annual drive to provide holiday gifts for children, teens, and older adults living alone. It brings joy to families living below the poverty line, and to older adults who might not receive any other gifts this year.
Here’s how it works:
SEPTEMBER-OCTOBER 2024
Gift recipients are selected and registered from among clients who got help from ICS this year and continue to have a need.
NOVEMBER 4, 2024
Online adoption portal opens for pre-registered organizations and individuals. Gift donors download and print wish lists that include preferences like size and favorite color.
NOVEMBER 11, 2024

Recipient families pick up their gifts, along with wrapping paper and tape so parents have the opportunity to wrap their children’s gifts. Wrapped gifts for older adults can be dropped off and will be delivered by ICS volunteers. For questions about picking up gifts, please email gol@icstucson.org.
ICS recommends spending about $50 per gift recipient. Gifts need to be donated unwrapped.
If you are interested in adopting families or individuals, please contact blococo@icstucson.org.
Adopt a child, or older or disabled adult this holiday season. ICS recommends spending about $50 per gift recipient. Gifts for children need to be donated unwrapped. Gifts for older and disabled adults can be dropped off wrapped.
Want to help but don’t have time to shop? Monetary donations can be used for wrapping paper and tape, emergency financial assistance, food, and many other needs.
Instead of receiving pre-wrapped gifts this year, parents and guardians will get to see their kids’ presents ahead of time and wrap the items for their children.
