Corporate & Groups

Engage your team in meaningful volunteer work through a variety of programs that support seniors, food distribution, community events, and life advancement. These opportunities allow businesses to make a positive impact while fostering team building and community involvement. Whether it’s helping with yard work for older adults, participating in food drives, or assisting at local events, your group can contribute to making a difference in the community.

Events

  • Lotsa Pasta (February)
    Collect pasta, sauce (no glass), and mac & cheese for ICS food banks. Businesses transport donations to a drop-off site. Pickup is available for donations over 250 lbs.
  • Empty Bowls (First Saturday in March)
    Assist with setup, teardown, and operations at our event serving soups, breads, and desserts. Tasks include ticket check-in, auction support, souvenir bowl wrapping, and kitchen/dining help. Training and guidance provided. Volunteers must provide transportation.
  • Peanut Butter Party (July)
    Collect jars of peanut butter for ICS food banks. Businesses transport donations to a designated ICS drop-off site. Pickup is available for donations over 250 lbs.
  • Fall Food Drive (October)
    Collect pantry staples and seasonal foods for ICS food banks. Businesses transport donations to a designated ICS drop-off site. Pickup is available for donations over 250 lbs.
  • Gifts of Love (November/December)
    Donate funds or new, unwrapped gifts for low-income seniors, disabled adults, and families. Gifts must be delivered unwrapped with recipient information attached. Drop-off details will be provided.

Life Advancement

  • Self Sufficiency Educational Presentation
    Provide educational content on financial literacy, self-sufficiency, or managing daily life for low-income individuals and families. No sales or advertising allowed. Optional incentives/gifts welcome. Presenters provide materials and transportation.

Food Distribution

  • Northwest Food Bank Distribution
    Volunteer at ICS Northwest Food Bank with roles like check-in, packing, and loading. Some positions require lifting 10-25 lbs. Volunteers provide their own transportation.
  • Free Produce Giveaways (November-May)
    Distribute produce to clients. Some heavy lifting (10-25 lbs.) required. Service performed outside. Volunteers provide their own transportation.
  • Stuff the Truck (Any Month)
    Collect non-perishable food donations at a business, church or other organization and have ICS Mobile Food Bank pick them up. Businesses assist with loading donations.

Hygiene Kits

Interfaith Community Services hygiene kits provide basic necessities that help maintain hygiene and personal care needs for people experiencing financial struggles or homelessness. You can help by creating and donating hygiene kits to be given out at an ICS Food Bank and Office.
